Copal Studios site goes live!
The Copal Studios website is up and running! This makes our existence kinda official. So, I guess the studio and its team deserve a proper introduction.
Copal Studios is a small remote indie game studio lightly based in Uruguay but mostly comprised of ridiculously creative and talented people from around the world. The team has ample experience working in both the game development and animation industries at studios such as Disney, Warner, Naughty Dog, Team Meat, Sledgehammer, Steamroller, Etermax, etc.
Our mission is simple, we want to create unique immersive and challenging worlds for you to explore and enjoy. Our whole team was inspired by deeply immersive games in franchises like The Legend of Zelda and Metroid that did just that expertly. We aim to create interactive adventures that hopefully connect with players the same way those games did with us.
We are currently hard at work on our first game. A 2D action/adventure game set in a strange little world that is familiar to us but that has remained mostly unexplored till now. The game will hopefully be launching on PC, Mac and Linux in addition to the nintendo Switch, playstation 5 and Xbox series X. We can’t give too much away for now but please hang tight, more information and an official announcement will be coming soon.
This site will be used to document and update on the development of this game and many others in the future. We will be sharing content on our project’s game design, story, art, animation as well as trailers, demos or betas. or any news on the ups and downs of development.
If you want to stay up to date with news and regular updates don’t hesitate to sign to our newsletter or follow us at any of our social media links below. We want to be open and transparent about the development of this passion project of us. That includes showing the ups and downs of development and opening up to any feedback you might have for us.
We are a small studio so we are going to need all the help we can get to spread the word about us and our little project. So if you happen to like what you see please share it with the people you care about so you can both help us finish this project for you to enjoy.
More information on the game and the official announcement coming soon. Till next time!
